  • Transparency - Sheer texture or transparency is the characteristic of Chanderi fabric that differentiates it from other textiles produced across the country. The transparency of this fabric is due to the use of single Flature quality of yarn.
  • Varieties - Traditional Chanderi silk sarees are available in a white cotton saree heavily worked in gold, a chequered embroidered saree, a broad striped gold embroidered saree, a white silver chanderi, a gold chequered Chanderi saree and a gold small chequered silk Chanderi saree. The three most admired fabrics used to produce Chanderi sarees are chanderi cotton, pure silk and cotton silk.
